NuAbode One is our most considered work: a single, privately commissioned Airstream created each calendar year. There is no standard floorplan, predetermined finish schedule, or list of upgrades from which to choose. Every decision belongs to one client and one brief.
The relationship is direct and deliberately personal. You work with the people responsible for the design, engineering, fabrication, and final commissioning of the coach. Your design remains yours alone.
The donor coach
The right Airstream comes after the right questions.
We do not begin by prescribing a particular year, length, or model. We first understand how many people will travel, how the coach will be used, where it must go, what it must carry, and what ownership should feel like years from now.
Only then do we identify and evaluate the donor Airstream. Shell condition, proportions, axle capacity, window and door placement, service access, towing considerations, and the potential of the interior architecture all inform the selection. The donor is chosen because it serves the commission—not because it is convenient.

Designed from the inside out

We begin with movement, sightlines, storage logic, acoustics, light, comfort, maintenance, and the realities of serious travel. Materials are selected for the way they age. Cabinetry is engineered for motion. Systems remain accessible. Every reveal, transition, fastener, and touchpoint is considered as part of one interior.
The result is not intended to announce its cost. It should reveal its quality gradually—in the silence of a cabinet closing, the logic of a service panel, the comfort of a seat after a long day, and the absence of compromises you no longer have to accommodate.

Fabrication, integration, testing, documentation, and a considered handover are managed as one continuous undertaking.
The maker’s mark
A provenance carried with the coach.
Every completed NuAbode One receives a serialized exterior plaque unique to that commission. The number corresponds to the permanent build record, specifications, systems documentation, and material history delivered with the coach.
Machined aluminum, a charcoal anodized face, and restrained bronze-gold engraving allow the mark to belong naturally on an Airstream shell. It is identification, not ornament.
Badge shown as a design concept. Final dimensions, fastening, finishes, and production artwork will be validated before fabrication.
The level of commitment
A significant private commission.
NuAbode One projects are extensive undertakings whose total build investment can reach several hundred thousand dollars. Scope and pricing are developed privately only after we understand the client, the donor coach, the engineering requirements, and the desired standard of finish.
Commission inquiries are reviewed personally. Accepting one NuAbode One each year allows us to protect the attention, continuity, and accountability that work at this level requires.
